The “Althan Park” property is situated between the area of the former Vienna University of Economics and Business and the Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof railway station. This property in the 9th district of Vienna is distinguished by its inner city urban location and the correspondingly high-quality infrastructure, and also features excellent transport connections.

The office building was originally built as a postal headquarters for Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland, and was used for this purpose for many years, but has stood empty since the end of 2013.

The building’s unusual four-wing architecture and its elevated position (as a result of its partly being constructed above the platforms of the Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof railway station) offer an impressive view of the adjoining districts.

6B47 is planning to convert this building, which was last used as office space, into a modern residential building with approximately 240 apartments. During the planning stage, special importance is being attached to creating different-sized apartments, and the plans therefore include single and family apartments, garden apartments, and penthouse and loft apartments.
